Will local models really be as good as ChatGPT or Claude?
For most business workloads — summarization, classification, extraction, answering questions grounded in your own documents — modern open-weights models (Qwen, Mistral, DeepSeek, Llama) are genuinely competitive once they're fine-tuned on your data and connected to your knowledge base with RAG. The frontier hosted models still lead on a few edge cases, but those are rarely the bottleneck for the work that actually matters to your business.
Do I actually own the system, or am I renting it?
You own it. The model weights, the custom code, the fine-tuned artifacts, and any data you contribute are your property. There's no lock-in, no per-seat licence on the core system, and nothing that stops working if you stop paying a subscription — because there isn't one.
What does a project cost?
It's scoped per project, not sold off a rate card, because the cost depends on your data, the integration complexity, the model and topology, and the throughput you need. How long until something is live?
It depends on whether you start with a prototype or commit straight to production. Is on-premise overkill if I'm a smaller business?
Not necessarily — and that's exactly the conversation to have first. If your data isn't sensitive and you just want a website chatbot, a lighter setup may be the right call, and we'll tell you so. But the moment you're handling customer records, contracts, or anything a regulator cares about, keeping it in-house is often cheaper and safer than it looks. A misaligned deployment is worse than no deployment.
Can you integrate with the systems we already use?
